Caregiving Services In Harrods Creek, KY
Premier Caregiver Services proudly provides in-home dementia care to individuals and families in Harrods Creek, Kentucky. Harrods Creek is a small neighborhood just east of Louisville at the intersection of River Road and Wolf Pen Branch Road. It was named after Harrods Creek, which is directly to the east of the neighborhood, and was incorporated in 2003, when Jefferson County and Louisville merged in 2003. In the early days, the land was planned for a town by the Transylvania Company. Lots for homes were sold, but the town was never developed and became known as Seminary Land for a while, until River Road (previously the Louisville-Westport Pike) was built through it.
Today, it hosts a few of the surrounding areas’ favorite restaurants, like Harrods Creek Tavern and The Pine Room. Being nearby the kayak rental company Nachland, kayakers will often paddle right up to Harrods Creek Tavern for a bite to eat before continuing to paddle down the creek. It is close to several marinas that house boats for the Ohio River to host, and is situated just south of Louisville’s Captain’s Quarters Riverside Grille. Residents have easy access to US 42, and are surrounded by beautiful nature that takes them right out of the big city feel.
