The impact I hope to make is just improving their quality of life. Somebody that really genuinely cares about them. (0:12)

What I hope in working with these clients with this illness is that they will have moments of joy. (0:22)
They may never have another new memory, but they can have moments of joy. I just hope to give their family a sense of peace and encouragement. (0:34)
One thing I try to remind every one of my clients’ families is that love is not a memory. (0:42)
It’s not something that can go away with a shriveling brain. It’s something that is in our hearts, and I try to live that with every client that I meet. (0:53)
