We have been using Premier Caregiver Services for, gosh, over 10 plus years now. They provide wonderful home care for our patients who need assistance at home, staying at home, being independent. My experience with Premier has been that they really, from start to finish, do a top-notch job, and they take it seriously. They get all the information they can about our patients, our patients’ needs, our families for the patients and the family needs. They are all-encompassing and they’re not just filling a caregiving spot. (0:39)
They truly step up to give patients the best care they can. Through the years, we’ve seen Premier Caregivers take on a lot of difficult situations, difficult patients and their needs. And they are always very thorough in learning about the patients, truly meeting the needs of not only to survive, but to really excel in their healthcare and all their needs. (1:02)
And it may be everything from TLC to much more socialization to helping the families understand the true needs of the care. This is really not an easy thing for patients families because they’re trying to be the family and caregivers a lot of times. And it’s hard to do both, and so they really step in. They’re good about getting the information on the patients’ needs and matching their caregivers with those needs. So it’s not just the next man up for each patient. It’s who’s the best person we have that fits the needs of this patient and the patient’s family. (1:38)
This is really important, especially in dementia patients where the needs are really tough, and they really want to do their best to keep them at home. They have the resources and they, you know, really put forth the effort to make sure that happens for as long as possible. (1:53)
