Anchorage, KY is approximately 15 miles east of downtown Louisville with an estimated population of 2,500 people. Incorporated as a city in 1878, it is known for its historic architecture, high-ranking school system, and natural beauty.

Audubon Park, KY was named after the wildlife painter John James Audubon, and 18 of its 20 streets are named after birds. It has a present-day population of 1,433 and lies just east of the Kentucky Exposition Center and Louisville International Airport.

Barbourmeade

Barbourmeade, KY was incorporated as a city in October of 1962, and has grown from a population of 150 to over 1,200. The city is known for being part of the historic Springdale community, with some long-standing businesses still retaining the name.

Beechwood Village

Beechwood Village, KY lies 7 miles away from downtown Louisville, right next to the city of St. Matthews. It has a population of approximately 1,900 residents who can easily access shopping hubs and restaurants nearby on Shelbyville Road and Hubbards Lane. 

Bellewood

Bellewood, KY is a family-oriented city with about 340 residents. It was incorporated as a city in 1950 and rests between Brownsboro Road and Shelbyville Road. Residents have plenty of options for restaurants and shopping, as well as easy access to Louisville’s interstates.

Brownsboro Farm

Brownsboro Farm, KY has a population of approximately 640 residents and lies 10 miles from downtown Louisville. The city has its own community center, neighborhood dinner club, an annual Fall Festival, and also offers an 11-acre park and 4-lane, 25 meter swimming pool.

Brownsboro Village

Brownsboro Village, KY is a city nestled on the corner of Chenoweth Road and Brownsboro Road, and is home to approximately 308 residents. Its streets are named after Greek mythical characters, Celtic priests, and Native American translations.

Cherokee Gardens

Cherokee Gardens is a residential area of Louisville, KY right outside of Cherokee Park, located just off of Lexington Road. With a population of over 1,000 people, residents have easy walking access to the beautiful Cherokee Park and easy driving access to I-64.

Crossgate

Crossgate, KY is a city that boasts a population of approximately 221 residents. It has just over 100 homes on big lots with mature trees, and is near Brownsboro Road, I-264, and Herr Lane, which connects the city to Westport Road as well.

Deer Park

Deer Park is a Louisville neighborhood four miles southeast of downtown with a population of over 4,000 people. The neighborhood is considered a part of the Highlands, and has an involved neighborhood association that hosts a number of social events.

Glenview

Glenview, KY is a city that borders the Ohio River about 7 miles northeast of downtown Louisville with a population of about 600. It is known for the old estate homes on bluffs that overlook the Ohio River, many of which are a part of the National Register of Historic Places.

Glenview Hills

Glenview Hills, KY is a city with a population of approximately 377 that was officially incorporated in 1972. It is a close-knit community that boasts lots of large, mature trees on their streets. The city is fairly enclosed, with only two points of entry off of Lime Kiln Lane.

Glenview Manor

Glenview Manor, KY is a city of approximately 200 residents located 8 miles northeast of downtown Louisville. The city was officially incorporated in 1965 and is considered one of the best places to live in Kentucky with a high safety rating and above average schools.

Graymoor-Devondale

Graymoor-Devondale, KY is a city right off of I-264 by Westport Road and Herr Lane. The city was once 2 cities, Graymoor and Devondale, which were formally incorporated in 1959 and 1958 respectively. They merged in 1985 and the present-day city was reincorporated in 1987.

Harrods Creek

Harrods Creek is a Louisville neighborhood located at the intersection of River Road and Wolf Pen Branch Road just off of the body of water, Harrods Creek. It merged with Jefferson County in 2003 and now has a population of just over 100 people. 

Hills and Dales

Hills and Dales, KY is a city of about 150 residents spread over a 64-acre area that includes woodlands. The city has only one entrance point that leads to U.S. Route 42. With no through streets, the city is very safe for foot traffic and bicycles.

Indian Hills

Indian Hills, KY is a city right off of Brownsboro Road with a population of about 2,860. It is known primarily for its terrain and undeveloped areas, which equal approximately one-third of the entire city and include Indian Hills Trail and the Caperton Swamp Nature Preserve.

Maryhill Estates

Maryhill Estates, KY is a city comprised of just six streets and 185 residents that call it home. It is surrounded by North Hubbards Lane, Chenoweth Lane, Massie Avenue, and Brownsboro Road, which give residents easy access to several social hubs of surrounding cities.

Mockingbird Valley

Mockingbird Valley, KY is a city with a population that sits at about 175 residents. It is frequently referred to as a country enclave with a rural feel, boasting several areas with heavy tree density, undisturbed rock outcroppings, and architecture made with local materials.

Moorland

Mooreland, KY is a city about 11 miles east of downtown Louisville with approximately 433 residents. Its north border runs along Goose Creek, and its south border connects directly to La Grange Road. In total, Moorland comprises .09 square miles.

Murray Hill

Murray Hill, KY is a city of about 565 residents 11 miles northeast of downtown Louisville. The community, which was incorporated in 1982, is close knit and family-friendly with low vehicle traffic, as there are only 3 entrances into the community.

Norbourne Estates

Norbourne Estates, KY is a city with 437 residents, known for tree-lined streets, classic homes, and a tight-knit community. It is conveniently located between Winchester Road and Shelbyville Road, where plenty of shopping opportunities and restaurants are established.

Northfield

Northfield, KY is a city 8 miles northeast of downtown Louisville with approximately 1,000 residents. It is known for its peaceful streets, mature trees, and convenient access to Brownsboro Road for shopping and dining.

Old Brownsboro Place

Old Brownsboro Place, KY is a city home to about 376 residents that offers a quiet, upscale suburban setting with spacious lots and wooded surroundings. It is located near Brownsboro Road and provides quick access to several major interstates and expressways.

Prospect

Prospect, KY is a city that was incorporated in 1974 and now has a population of approximately 4,592 residents. It is named after the Prospect railroad station that once ran through the city around 1872 and is now known as one of the wealthiest communities in Kentucky.

Richlawn

Richlawn, KY is a city located right off of Shelbyville Road with a population of about 415 people. It is surrounded by the adjacent city of St. Matthews and shares many of the shopping, dining, and social amenities in the area.

Riverwood

Riverwood, KY is a city of approximately 500 people near the Ohio River just east of Indian Hills and downtown Louisville. Residents enjoy the natural terrain of the city being surrounded by woodlands and the Muddy Fork creek running though the southwest part of the city.

Rolling Fields

Rolling Fields, KY is a city of about 720 residents 5 miles east of downtown Louisville. It is bordered by Mockingbird Valley, Indian Hills, and Louisville Metro. Before it was incorporated in 1958, Rolling Fields was originally part of the Veech family farm for over 100 years.

Rolling Hills

Rolling Hills, KY is a city with a population of around 934 residents living on 0.2 square miles of land. The city is home to the Rolling Hills Plaza, which is a shopping center that has been thriving for over 60 years for residents to enjoy.

Seneca Gardens

Seneca Gardens, KY is a city of 674 residents that is known for its park-like atmosphere and development. It has only one non-residential building within the city limits and has been at the center of the Neighborhood Arboretum Project since 1987.

Spring Mill

Spring Mill, KY is a city 12 miles southeast of downtown Louisville that is home to approximately 300 residents within a 0.054 square mile area. The city has just two entrances and is very safe for residential activity and community events that the city hosts.

Spring Valley

Spring Valley, KY is a city of approximately 700 people just off of Brownsboro Road. The city is bordered by Barboumeade, Old Brownsboro Place, and Louisville Metro. It was formally incorporated as a city in 1983 to provide services to Spring Valley Estates.

Saint Matthews

St. Matthews, KY is a city of approximately 17,534 residents that was incorporated in 1950. It is the 23rd largest city in the state of Kentucky and is home to several dining and shopping opportunities, including the Mall St. Matthews, which is the 5th largest mall in the state. 

Windy Hills

Windy Hills, KY is a city that is home to approximately 2,427 residents who live in an area of 0.93 square miles that is bordered by 6 other cities. The Muddy Fork of Beargrass Creek, a tributary of the Ohio River, flows through the northeastern part of the city.

Woodlawn Park

Woodlawn Park, KY is a city built on the site of the former Woodlawn Race Course, a horse racing course opened in 1859 and closed in 1870. Now, it is home to about 947 residents and runs along Westport Road with direct access to I-264.

Worthington Hills

Worthington Hills, KY is a city with a population of approximately 1,563 people living on 0.25 square miles of land. It was officially incorporated in 1980 and is now a largely residential area just off of Westport Road and Ballardsville Road.
