Currently we are looking for someone to join our team and take over the position of Care Manager. Our agency is a fast growing, highly reputable, top tier service, “boutique” non-medical homecare service in Kentucky. Our purpose is to provide alternatives for those in need who wish to remain at home rather than move to a nursing facility. Job Description: Starting pay is $27,040 salaried with a shared incentive program that likely pays $5K-$10K, possibly more, first year.

Care Manager is a full-time position. There is a 90-day probationary period as with any newly acquired position within our agency.

The Care Manager is responsible for ensuring care is provided for our clients in your region by scheduling existing caregivers on any open shifts and covering new cases as they come in or on new open shifts as caregivers call out. Duties include but are not limited to confirming schedules for billing, communicating with Insurance companies and other MCO’s for authorizations renewals and issues, management of caregivers to ensure care is provided within company standards. Secondary duties include recruiting, screening, interviewing, and training prospective and new caregivers as well as some administrative billing and accounts receivable work when necessary. On the job training will be provided but some experience is necessary.

Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 5:30PM.

Office is closed several holidays out of the year, with pay. Your hours will be during business hours, and occasionally you might take on call for nights and weekends

Qualifications: There are systems that are involved within this process. I.e. Matrix Care, must be used daily along with internal spreadsheets and office systems communication. Experience in any of these systems is REQUIRED, experience in all of them is preferred.

Applicant must be quick learners, able to work in a fast-paced environment, very efficient at computer usage, able to multi task, able to supervise employees, and communicate with clients, referral sources, care coordinators and team members with professionalism and ease.
